Michael Walton Fifth Grade
Professional Hello. My name is Michael Walton and I will be teaching fifth grade this year at Cherry Chase School. After receiving degrees in Exercise Biology and Psychology from UC Davis, I went on to get my teaching credential from CSU Sacramento. Three years ago I taught fifth and sixth grade science at an elementary school in Davis, California. Last year I was in the same position here at Cherry Chase and loved it! Even though I love science I am thrilled to be teaching core fifth grade. I have many fun and exciting activities planned for this year that I hope the students will enjoy. Personal As your children may have already told you I am a huge sports fan. I enjoy playing, watching, coaching, and refereeing almost all sports but baseball and basketball are my two favorites. Go Giants and Warriors! When I am not involved in sports I enjoy camping, spending time with family and coin collecting.
