4th Grade Homework
 

 


 

*Math homework is assigned by teacher.  Reading log and spelling are due on Friday of each week.  I do check the reading log periodically during the week.

 

 

Monday, November 3rd

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: Make a connection to your story.  What type of connection is it?  Be sure to include details from the story to support the connection.

Math: Per teacher assignment

Science: ISG pages 12 and 13 (if not done) and 14 and 15; re-read chapter 2, lesson 4; complete SSN pg. 23

Science: reviewing for assessment

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: If our main character was writing an autobiography, what woudl be today's entry?  4 sentences.

Science: reviewing for assessment

 

Thursday, November 6th

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: Summarize what you read in 4 sentences

Math: Per teacher assignment

Spelling: List three "great" sets of antonyms - be creative

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: Describe the setting in detail.  Paint a picture in the reader's mind. 4 sentences

Math: Per teacher assignment

Spelling: Spelling and Vocabulary WB page 30 and 31

Science: get test signed, correct test on separate piece of paper, discuss why you missed what you did, cut up vocabulary for chapter 2

Prompt: Summarize what you read in 4 sentences

Wednesday, October 29th

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: think about what you read today, why do you think the quthor included these events?  EXPLAIN, 4 sentences

Math: Per teacher assignment

Spelling: List 3 words where the 'y' changes to 'i'; list 3 words where the final consonant is doubled when adding 'ing'

Science: ISG pages 8 and 9; re-read chapter 2, lesson 1; complete SSN pg. 20; List some good conductors and insulators found around your home

 

Thursday, October 30th

Reading: 30 minutes and do prompt

Prompt: Summarize what you read in 4 sentences

Math: Per teacher assignment

Spelling: List 3 sets of homophones and use in sentences

Science: ISG pages 10 and 11; re-read chapter 2; lesson 2, complete SSN pg. 21
