Minhee and Snoopy's weekend

Friday, September 19th

     Minhee and I went to NorCal swim shop right after school. Boy, there were millions and jillions of swim gear!

     Then Minhee got home, she took me to her house and showed me her room. It was full of craft and art supplies. Just bye looking at Minhee's room, you could tell she was an arts-and-crafts person. Minhee put me next to Pucca, her alarm clock. Then, Minhee got out her clarinet and played a few songs for fun. Then Minhee scooped me up and took me into the car to drop her little sister, Claire, off to Fairbrae for her swimming lesson.

     After that, we came home and Minhee started tossing me up and down.(Gently, of course!) WHEEEEEEEE!!!! It was more fun than riding in my plane. Minhee's mom broke the fun by telling Minhee to practice piano. Listening to piano was a bore to me.

     It finally ended and Minhee went to room and played with me. After a short while, Minhee went to her swimming lesson. Minhee had a great time swimming. I watched her by sitting on the bench. Minhee came home and ate her delicious dinner and went to church. Minhee left me home because I would get too dirty there.

     Minhee came back looking tired but merry and got ready to go to sleep. Last but not least, Minhee took me to her soft warm bed and snoozed. Sweet dreams!

Saturday, Septmeber 20th

      Minhee took me to her Korean School today. She had a great time learning and doing fun games. Then she went to art class and had fun drawing.

      After her day in Korean School, Minhee's family went to eat lunch. Minhee had yummyy Japanese noodles. In the end, Minhee suceeded in begging her parents into buying her chocolate ice-cream. I was mmm-mmm good.

      Then, Minhee went and played Wii with me. Minhee usually won most of the games. Still, it was fun. Maybe I'll ask Charlie Brown to buy us a Wii. Then I watched a funny show on TV with Minhee. The show was so funny, I was laughing my head off.

       Minhee ate her yummy dinner and took me to her bed to sleep.

Sunday, September 21st

    Today, Minhee went to church. At church, she had fun and she said that it was a wonderful day at church. After she ate lunch, Minhee went home and played computer. I watched her as she skillfully won her games. She also read books, too.

    Minhee also went outside played with me. She tossed me up and down, spun me in circles, and most of the time, she just held me and walked around. It was fun.

    Then, Minhee ate dinner and went to sleep. That was pretty much it.

      Tanya and Woodstock's Weekend

           Today when I came home from Cherry Chase School, Tanya showed me her house. Then, she and I started playing on Neopets.com. We played for like 20 minutes, and then we started reading Dragon Rider. I thought that the book was interesting. After that, Tanya had to go to dance class at 7:50 P.M. She wanted me to come with her to dance, but I noticed that I couldn’t dance and had to go to stores with Tanya’s dad. When Tanya finished her dance class at 8:45 P.M., we picked her up, ate dinner as a family, and went to bed.

             “Yawn”. It was so comfortable sleeping in Tanya’s bed. When Tanya woke up, she introduced me to a mouse named Licky. We talked and played while Tanya helped her mom do housework and ate breakfast. Today again, Tanya went to dance class at noon at 12:00, so I had to be left at home. When she returned, her family (except her sister) went shopping. Three hours later…YEY! They’re back! Tanya’s dad made meat enough for lunch and dinner because he made so much! After dinner, Tanya read two chapters in her book, while Licky showed me her talent, singing a song! The song was so funny, but it rhymed! Then Tanya and I went to sleep.  Sunday, September 28, 2008           When I woke up, I had to wait like an hour and a half until Tanya got up. Then when she woke up, we played Nintendo DS for about 30-40 minutes. After that, we read Dragon Rider. Since today was Tanya’s dad’s birthday, she and her mom gave him two birthday cards. She made a “pop-up” card from paper, and the other one her mom just bought from a store. After that, Tanya and her family ate breakfast and then went to the Flea Market to find Tanya a backpack. Three hours later, they came back. Tanya and her family bought chicken and ate it for lunch. Then Tanya rode her bike while I was sitting on her shoulder. It was so cool to ride on a shoulder. But then Tanya got on her ripstick and she was holding me, it was kind of scary because I thought she would soon fall off. When we were done with the rides, I listened to how Tanya played the piano. She also taught me a couple notes. At 5:00 P.M., Tanya’s family and I went to some friends so we could celebrate Tanya’s dad’s birthday. Yey! At last I get to go somewhere with Tanya’s family again. There she and I read a book together. We came back around 8:30 P.M. It was fun being in Tanya’s house over the weekend. It’s so sad leaving this house.  Kenta's Weekend with the Flying Ace

Friday,October 3
     Today,Kenta had to practice piano for his lessons at 5:45 p.m.  He also had to finish his portion of the Native American book.  After that, he went to read a book.  Kenta invited me to read with him.  Kenta is a fast reader but he isn't as fast as I am.  I reminded him to write down the name of his book for the "Reading Is Cool" program.
     Before he went to piano class, Kenta took out an MTR (Mass Transit Railway) toy set with me, Lucy, Charlie Brown, and Woodstock sitting on top of different MTR carts.  I was driving the MTR.  Lucy was holding a book in her hands while popping out of a bush.  Charlie Brown was throwing a baseball.  Woodstock was on top of a mailbox which was twirling around.  It turned out that while Kenta was visiting Hong Kong some years ago, he took rides on the MTR.  The MTR company gave out a toy cart to each passenger who could take 5 round trips in a week.  Kenta took 20 round trips to get 4 MTR carts with all of us on them.  We came with the MTR plastic tracks, platforms on which people waited for the MTR, a billboard with my picture, and an entrance to the MTR station.  Kenta left it running before he went to piano class so that I could watch the MTR carts went around in the figure-eight tracks until his mom turned it off to conserve electricity.
     After Kenta came home, he ate dinner.  He offered me some of his food, but I refused.  I only like dog food, cookies, and candies.  His mom told us to brush teeth and go to bed.  Kenta patted me good night and fell asleep.  I soon fell asleep, too.

Saturday,October 4
     Today, when I woke up, Kenta wasn't home.  He went to class already.  He stayed there for an hour and forty-five minutes.  That was o'kay because I slept late.  After he came home, he let me play with my cousins.  He had many stuffed Snoopies from McDonald's in Hong Kong.  I chatted with them all day.  They told me what it was like to live in Hong Kong.  I was fascinated by their stories.  Well, I must go to Hong Kong some day.

      Today, I had an idea!  After I saw those MTR carts, I wanted to take a ride, too.  Kenta suggested his R/C monster truck.  I fitted into the back seat perfectly!  Wee!!!  It was fun!  Kenta drove me around his house all day.  Phew!  That was exciting!  Well, I'm looking forward to seeing Ms.Souther again on Monday morning.  Good night!

My weekend with Rhea and her brother Aarav

Dear Room 18,

Friday, October 10
I went with Rhea after school. Rhea had to drink milk, before we could play. We first made a puzzle. It was about the fifty states of our country. Rhea then read a book to me. It was time to pick up Rhea’s baby brother Aarav from his daycare. Aarav was very excited to see me. We had a great time playing soccer. In the night, Aarav asked if he could sleep with me. I slept on the top bunk bed with Aarav.

Saturday, October 11
We woke up early in the morning. I wanted to have more fun with Rhea and Aarav. Rhea had to go for a soccer game. I went to cheer her team. I had a great time watching Rhea play soccer. The game was a tie, but we had a lot of fun. We came back and had lunch. Then, Rhea, Aarav and their Mom washed their car. I watched Rhea helping her Mom. Then, it was time to go to a birthday party at “Pump It Up”. It was great fun playing there. Rhea showed me to all her friends. They all loved me. We came back late in the night. We were so tired, that we slept in the van on our way back.

Sunday, October 12
On Sunday, we stayed home and played board games. I liked the game “Chutes and Ladders”. We then played with trains and cars. Rhea read a book to Aarav and me. In the evening, we had to go for another birthday party. We got to see cool tricks from a magician. It got chilly in the night. Rhea covered me with a small blanket. It was warm and cozy in the blanket. We went back to Rhea’s home and watched a movie about the princess Ariel.

Monday, October 13
On Monday, we went for a walk and then played in the park for a long time. Rhea lives close to the DeAnza Park. We had so much fun playing in the sand. We came home tired and took a nap. We played soccer in the evening. Rhea rode her bike. She let me sit on her bike. I also played with Aarav and his “Thomas the Tank Engine” train set. In the night, we read a book before going to sleep.

Tuesday, October 14
We woke up in the morning. Rhea and I went on a play date to her friend’s house. Rhea’s Mom dropped us there. We played board games and did some math too. After the play date, I went with Rhea to her soccer practice. We then went to YMCA. I watched Rhea and Aarav in their swimming classes. We came home and had dinner. It was time to sleep. Tomorrow, I will be back to Room 18. I had a great time at Rhea’s home on the long weekend. Rhea and Aarav are great fun to be with. I look forward to spending time with them again.

     Jessica and Snoopy's Weekend

    Today Jessica introduced a lot of animals to me. They were rather formal and polite. Most of them were at least twice my size. None were dressed up for Halloween like I am! Introducing took quite a while, as Jessica has about 30 animals, even though I didn’t meet all of them.  After that Jessica read These Happy Golden Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I looked through her books and decided to read If Dogs Ruled the World instead. Next, we ate dinner.  Jessica had a flute lesson soon after that, so I was left at the house. I started to explore, because she didn’t show me all of the rooms. (I actually can’t fly with my wings, so I had to walk. Shhh! Don’t tell the others!) The other rooms were quite boring, as I found out. I knew I might get lost and dirty, but I went into the garage anyway. It was an interesting place, with lots of books, mostly boring literature ones, but a few fiction. I didn’t take any. I don’t really like to read, like Jessica does. Then I started chatting with the other animals, and I found out they were quite nice and had all sorts of stories to tell.  Right now Jessica is typing this for me. I tried typing it at first, but gave up because my arms weren’t long enough. Jessica believes that dogs like me have to go to bed early, even though I’m not sleepy at all. So I’m brushing my teeth now. But I’m ready for a great weekend. I know this is a bit long, but there’s a lot to tell! Good-night!

 Today was really boring and uneventful. Jessica had a dance performance, and she didn’t bring me, but at least I could sleep late. For an hour I just walked around and tried to figure out what to do. But luckily, I was saved from going crazy by Hopi, a Carebear. She showed me around and played with me. It was really fun! But the best part was when Jessica came home, around 4:30. We ate pizza for dinner, with lots of meat on it. It was good enough, but bones are better. Then Jessica played some songs on her flute. She is very good at it and the songs sounded pretty. But I’m not really a very musical Snoopy. Since it is Saturday, I can sleep late. Everyone here really likes me, and I’ll be sad to leave them.

   When I woke up today, Jessica was still sleeping. Then, when Jessica was awake, a short time after, she, Hopi, and I played for hours together, since Jessica didn’t have any lessons. Hopi and I have become good friends and have a lot in common. Before lunch, we had a nice time chatting about what we did on Halloween last year. Halloween is my favorite topic to talk about. Then we had fish for lunch. Jessica saved the bones for me. After that, Hopi and I played some more.  We also took some pictures of me. I then took a nap and slept until dinner.   During that time, Jessica and her mom went to some stores. After dinner I didn’t do much. I miss Ms. Souther, but I’m never going to forget my weekend with Jessica. Now I’m going to sleep, the last time in Jessica’s house.

    Chloe's Weekend with Snoopy

Friday                   
 
        Today at school Chloe won a drawing and got to pick a Snoopy and picked me!! She said I was the coolest one there, but I promised not to brag about it at school. When we got home we both screamed, “it is Friday, party”, we jumped on the bed and started to dance crazily. We heard footsteps coming down the hall; we dropped down on the bed and pretended to sleep. Her sister came into the room and looked at us; I was tightly in Chloe’s hands. Her sister rolled her eyes and said that Chloe was a really bad fake sleeper. Chloe woke up and turned on the TV, she put on On – Demand. We watched some funny shows; some were so funny I cried. I told Chloe that I was hungry she said do you want human food or dog food I said I wanted some Cheez Itz. She ran into the kitchen to get me my snack with a bowl of fresh water. I ate it so fast that Chloe thought that I threw it on the ground, and then she went and threw the bowl and box away. I got tired so I fell asleep on a bed that Chloe made for me. ZZZZ I loved that nap, I dreamed that I was chasing a bone, but woke up right before I got it. Chloe asked me if I had a good cat nap I looked at her like she was crazy. I told her I had a dog nap, but she told me cat nap means small nap, it made sense to me now. Chloe got up and said she was going to the bathroom and asked if I had to go, I shook my head no, but I told her that I might later. She left the room, I sat there waiting. It was quiet, too quiet. I became a little scared without Chloe next to me. I closed my eyes but it was still scary I decided to open them again. I heard light footsteps in the hall way so I yelled, “you are back already?”, but there was no response. Then a huge shadow appeared in the hall, but it was on all fours. It came in looking around I thought if I didn't move it wouldn't attack me and it probably wouldn't have, but I sneezed and the huge bear- like thing looked right at me. I said, “hi, how are you doing?” It came closer with a mad look on his face and he yelled, “What are you doing in my house?” I responded, “um I thought this was Chloe's house”.  He came closer and said, “nobody comes into my house without asking me”.  He sniffed my head and said, “ewe gross you need to shampoo, but you will make a good afternoon snack”. He opened his mouth so wide he could eat me in one bite I looked up and saw his teeth and tongue ready to chew me up. I looked around the room, no wonder Chloe doesn’t have any stuffed animals around this place, he got closer and said, “bye bye”. I thought in my mind this is the end of me. Then at the last second Chloe came in and slapped the evil thing on the butt. It turned around, but didn't bite her; he knew that she was the boss she told him in a really loud and demanding voice, “GET OUT!!”  He ran out of the room, tail between his legs and right before he left he said, “this isn't the last of me”. Those words sent shivers down my spine and I almost fainted. Chloe looked at me she must have seen the look on my face because she said don’t worry he wouldn't hurt a fly. I felt a little better but still didn't want to meet face to face again, Chloe could still tell I was nervous so she went to her huge bag of Halloween candy and got me a pink jolly rancher I asked for a kit kat, but she said chocolate wasn't good for me so ate the jolly rancher instead. I asked why she wasn't having one she said it was too close to dinner time to have some and she already ate a lot today. Then Chloe's mom yelled from the kitchen “dinner is ready.”  Chloe didn't seem too happy about that I could tell from the look on her face. She said to me, “ I’m not hungry”, “ me either” I told her even though I was starving I didn't want to miss what she was going to do instead of eat. Then a happy almost evil smile came up on her face she ran into the kitchen she left me on the bed it was really light in the room so I didn't think about anything, but butterflies flying in the wind. Chloe came running in doing a small happy dance in the door way she looked right at me but skipped right pass me and then put some shoes on. She put a little backpack on that a small strap on the back and I realized that I could fit in those straps.  I became very happy. She ran out the door singing that she got to go on a bike ride I looked up at her she went out the door without me. I heard the gate open then I heard Chloe scream “OMG!!!”.  I forgot the two most important things I can't believe I did that she ran into the room she grabbed her helmet and me. I knew she wouldn't forget me on this adventure, she strapped me on the back of the backpack and we blasted off on her bike. We were flying then Chloe pulled over to look at a cat who was sitting on a gate she saw another cat but this time she knew the cat. She picked it up then it saw me I thought it would be scared because I’m a dog and cats are suppose to be scared of dogs. But I think she knew I was stuffed. Chloe’s neighborhood is so cool I wish I lived there too. Then when I was riding I fell out but Chloe’s cat- like reflexes caught me before I hit the ground. We went back to her house and instead of her mom telling her to eat she said that some of her friends asked her to go to go ice skating so as you can see my adventure today is not close to over. Her friends came and picked her up in warm clothes. First we went to the mall and ate I had a salad with pizza corn bread regular bread and some mountain dew. I of course shared all with Chloe then after we ate we got some ice cream I got vanilla with a side of jello. Chloe had vanilla too then her friend got chocolate her friend shoved her ice cream into Chloe’s face. I laughed really hard then Chloe shoved her ice cream into her friends face, Chloe had a chocolate beard and her friend had a white one. After we ate we went to the ice rink Chloe seemed a little nervous it was her first time and she knew she was going to fall. Chloe asked if they had an extra small in ice skates but the person shook their head. Darn I can’t go ice skating today but at least I can watch, Chloe fell about 1,000 times it was funny but she got the hang of it in 30 minutes. They thought it was sad that I couldn’t ice skate so they picked me up and I ice skated with them for a little. We ice skated for about 3 hours straight I was so cold and so were Chloe and her friends we decided to go back to the mall and get some hot chocolate. Yum,  that was good hot chocolate I finished mine and had a little of Chloe’s. The drive home was funny because we started singing random theme songs from TV shows. We got home at like 12:00pm we were so tired Chloe asked if I wanted to watch TV I said no way so we went right to bed she asked me if I wanted to sleep with her or in my bed I decided to sleep with Chloe.  
 
Saturday

 Cock a doodle doo, Chloe had to wake up at 7:00am to take her sister to her basket ball practice. Chloe didn’t seem too happy about that and I wasn’t either, I wanted to sleep in. We left to go to her school at 8:00am when we dropped her off her mom said that they were going to go biking in the mountains. Chloe and my frown turned upside down we wanted to go up steep mountains and go down hard hills so badly. We parked on at a small parking lot in front of a trail and jumped out of the car and started biking on the trail. We were going really fast up the mountains, but slowed down because our legs hurt already. It was really hard going up the mountains, when I was cold I would just go into Chloe’s backpack. When Chloe was cold she would just have to suck it up. It took us about 20minutes to go up the mountain and only 10 to go down it. When we went down we were so fast I think we were at least going about 35 mph it was so fun Chloe made sure not to run in to anyone and not to crash. When we went back in the car Chloe said that her legs felt like jello. After that we went and picked up Chloe’s sister from practice I was hungry and so was everybody else so we went to a restaurant called Brian’s. Chloe and I split an orange juice with strawberry waffles and whipped cream, it was super good. Then Chloe had a basketball practice from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, I watched some of it. Chloe said that I could stay and watch the whole practice or go shopping with my sister and mom. I picked shopping I like to shop I helped pick out stuff and I tried on some clothes on, that was fun. We went back and picked up Chloe, her mom had to go to the bank so we went there but Chloe and I decided to stay in the car. Right next to the bank was a frozen yogurt place so we had to get some, I got coffee with Twix and Chloe got strawberry with kiwi. We went home and we were pooped Chloe and I went to the room and thought about what we were going to do next. Chloe said we could watch a movie so we did it was called the Simpsons Movie. Even though Chloe has seen it a million times she watched it again with me, she fell asleep in the middle but she got to see the end. We had popcorn, Gatorade, and candy the movie was really funny.  I want to watch it again some time. After the movie I felt tired so I went and lie down on my bed and soon fell a sleep ZZZZ.  I woke up around 7:00pm it was a good cat nap, Chloe fell asleep again I woke her up because I had to go to the bathroom. She walked me there she opened the door put me on the seat and looked away I lifted me leg and had a peaceful pee. I was a little wild in the house after I went to the bathroom I don’t know why maybe my pee was holding me down. Chloe’s mom didn’t like me being crazy but I couldn’t stop. Her mom said “you better keep him under control”, Chloe went to her closet and got a piece of rope and tied it around my neck. She tied it on a chair and said that she will untie me when I calm down. I sat there pouting for a long time it started raining and I heard thunder it was scary.  I started
to yell and scream I’m calm I’m calm Chloe looked at me and said, “ no way José.”  She left the room and said five more minutes; it was dark in the corner I saw a shadow appear it looked like the one I saw before but this time it was black. It came right up to me and said hi in a friendly voice I said hi back. She asked if I wanted to come play with her.  I said, “ I wish but I am stuck here”, she looked at the knot then untied it with her front teeth I was free and tired I have taken a nap today I guess one more wouldn’t hurt (Snoopy slept the whole night and skipped dinner).

Sunday
 Today Chloe woke up at 8:00am. She had a small job in the morning, but she didn’t wake me up so I woke up at 9:00am. I was really hungry when I woke up, so Chloe got me some cereal, it was really good I had some grape juice too. We watched a show called World’s Funniest Animals there was some really funny animals that did silly things like look at themselves in the mirror and attack a paper plate. I laughed really hard Chloe had to get me some water so I wouldn’t choke. Chloe had to do her chores. It looked really boring, she cleaned all the glass and dumped out all of the garbage cans in the house. When she was done she asked me what I wanted to do, I said play. So she got me some toys. I played with them when that thing that set me free last night came in. I remembered that she was nice so I said hi she said want to play? I said sure we played fetch and tug a war I lost but I didn’t fall in the mud because she didn’t pull me that hard. I was super tired I watched TV until I got some energy then we went to Blockbuster (a movie store). We got Kung Fu Panda, it was hilarious. I wish it was longer though. Chloe and I ate a pot pie which was full of peas, chicken and carrots. We had a lot of candy during the movie too I ate every type she had I was really got full after that. I wanted to get another movie so I picked out Iron Man. Chloe said we should be able to watch tonight. She didn’t want to watch it right away because she said she was super tired and wanted to catch up on her sleep so she went and laid down on her bed and fell asleep. I went to my bed too.  I put the covers over my head and started counting sheep I fell asleep in like two seconds. I woke up at 2:30pm I looked around but Chloe wasn’t there she must have woken up already. I looked in her room she was still sleeping I did not want to wake her up so left. I decided to take this time to look around the house I saw how clean the living room was. Everything in the kitchen was neat and in their place, I opened the cabinet and took a lemon cookie it was delicious. In the bathroom there were a lot of clothes because they were trying to do all of their laundry. I was going to look around some more but Chloe woke up and picked me up and said that I shouldn’t wander around alone. Then Chloe showed me around the rest of the house, it was fun. I was sitting on her shoulders the whole time. When we were done we watched TV and surfed the internet for a long time. When we finished that Chloe did A LOT of laundry, then she took pictures of me on her phone it was super fun, I felt like I was a super model or celebrity. She took some of the both of us too and one where I was sleeping in my bed. Then Chloe had to read so she gave me a small boos and I read it in my bed while Chloe read a book on her bed. We read for a long time I was so bored I started to bite myself then I finally fell asleep. When I woke up Chloe said her mom left to go run some errands, she was going to go with her, but didn’t won’t to leave me. When her mom came back Chloe and I ate some Mac and Cheese, it was really good. I ate it pretty slow. Then we watched TV it quickly became 9:00pm so we went to bed. I am so happy tomorrow I get to go back to Ms. Souther, but I will also be sad.  I had so much fun with Chloe I will miss her.
