Snoopy and Pals Weekend Adventures07-08

Each weekend a student takes home a snoopy or friend.  These are their stories:

   Kay Marie and Snoopy's Weekend

Friday:

We went home and did Webkinz and ate ice cream. Then he spelled his name in cookie letters and ate it. Then it was time to go to Isabella’s house for a packing party since Kay Marie’s mom was going Girl Scout camping for the weekend. It was so much fun! We played skeleton in the closet. No one could find me! I know I was the best one there! Then we went home and went to bed.

Saturday:

We woke up and read Peanuts comics in bed. Then we had to get up because Kay Marie had a soccer game early. We got out of the car and it started pouring on us! When we got home, we finished Nancy Drew and played Kay Marie’s DS and visited Mocha, my new computer friend. Then we went to Trader Joes and I picked out a chocolate bar and ate it. Then Kay Marie’s Dad got his haircut. I wonder what a razor cutting hair feels like. Then we went to Sarah’s house. We played snowboarding and I beat everyone! Then we ate! It was probably the best part! After, we took Sarah home for a sleepover, and I tipped over and fell in the popcorn! It was awesome! We had a great time. Sarah slept with Kay Marie and me because KK’s bed becomes a double bed. It was magic before my eyes!

Sunday:

We woke up and played DS for a long time. Then we played Webkinz and I ate a bag of waffles! Now I am typing away on the computer. Then we played checkers and I won. Then, Sarah and Kay Marie made the Snoopy cart 2000, which I will show you on Monday. It doesn’t go that fast because the wheels are balloons, but I still like it. After, we played a game of Uno and I won again. Then, Kay Marie’s Mom came home. After we greeted them, they showed us a box oven. They baked muffins and cinnamon rolls in a box covered in tinfoil- amazing! Now I am typing. Then we went to the library and I got a Charlie Brown Christmas DVD. Then we came home and played UNO again and I won! After we ate dinner, we watched my movie. Then we watched home makeover. After, we went to bed. I can’t wait to see Ms. Souther tomorrow morning! Well, that was my weekend!

Yours truly,

Snoopy

KAILA’S TIME WITH SPIKE

Friday 9/28/07

Today when we got home, Kaila showed me her home. Then we ate an Otter Pop.  When we finished snack I took a nap in my new bed, while Kaila cleaned her room. Then we read PEANUTS ALL STARS.  At 4:30 P.M., Kaila’s Grammy came for a visit from Monterey. Some where around 5:00 p.m., we went for a walk. This is when the cool things happened. Kaila”s Grammy was with Kaila’s sister Jordyn and I was in a basket on Jordyn’s bike. Then Kaila fell in the street because she went over a rock on her rollerblades. After that we went home to clean Kaila’s knee. Around 6:00p.m., we went to dinner.

Saturday 9/29/07

Today at 7:00a.m., I went in the kitchen for breakfast. We had eggs and breakfast sausage.  When we finished breakfast we got dressed and went to Jordyn’s soccer game. It was very cool to watch little kids play soccer. After the soccer game we all went to, Sweet Tomatoes and Costco. When we got home Kaila got ready for her soccer game. Kaila’s team tied the game 0 to 0, against a team that was a division ahead of us. After my parents left we ate dinner, watched some television, and went to bed. Then Kaila’s Grammy went to bed.

Sunday 9/30/07

Today at 8:00 a.m., we went into the kitchen for breakfast. We had toast and sausage for breakfast. After breakfast we watched THE THREE MUSKETEERS .After that we got dressed and went to TARGET. After TARGET we went to Chuck E. Cheese. At CHUCK E. CHEESE I got hundreds o f tickets in lots of games.  Then we went home and took a shower. Then we ate dinner and watched television. When Kalia wasn’t looking her brother, Jeffere, snatched me and gave me a slobber kiss. After that we went to bed.

    Andrew's weekend with Woodstock

Friday 10/05/07

Andrew took me to Popeye's fast food restaurant and we got lots of french fries and chicken. The food was very yummy.

Saturday 10/06/07

It was Andrew's sister's 15th birthday. At her birthday party, we ate lots of cup cakes and played tag with Andrew's hat. But the bad part was it went over the fence.

Sunday morning 10/07/07

Andrew's mom made us some chocolate waffles. Later in the afternoon, we went to the skate park but I fell a lot. Later in evening, we played Runescape on the computer and it was a lot of fun. After that, we brushed our teeth and went to bed.

   Amani's and Snoopy's Weekend

Friday 12, 2007

Today I went with Amani to CDC which was cool because I never been

to CDC! First Amani asked her friend to make a scarf for me which fit me perfectly! After that I got hungry so I ate carrots, rice, fruit and milk. I also read Green Eggs and Ham. I really liked Sam-I-am because he will do anything to get that guy to eat it! I took a nap in Amani’s cubby and it was quite warm! Then Amani’s dad came and we went home and her house was beautiful!

                               Sincerely, Snoopy

Saturday 13, 2007

Today I am so excited because I get to go to Amani’s soccer game! I knew that Ms. Souther played soccer, but I didn’t know Amani plays soccer too! At 8:30a.m we went to Amani’s game. I sat in a blue chair, and I was just staring ONLY at Amani and her team. All her teammates were fantastic! When the game ended we went home and called Kay-Marie. Kay-Marie said we could come! When we got to Kay-Marie’s house we first took pictures in different types of settings. My favorite picture was when Amani made me look like a superhero. After taking pictures we danced to music. Amani and I did the Tango! Later we played this game where we would try to steal ME, but unfortunately Kay-Marie won. The saddest part of our playdate was ending it!

                                 Sincerely, Snoopy

Sunday 14, 2007

Today at 10:30a.m Amani had to go to this Soccer Picture thing and she was in a rush! I slept in, so she let me sleep for some time. I woke up exactly when she came back. Amani took a bath and then we read Spongebob Squarepants, which was incredibly funny! Amani and I went to the mall with her mom and cousins and I liked talking with them! Amani bought 1 jeans pant and 1 sweat pant. When we came back Amani’s other cousins came we all ate dinner together. So far I liked playing with Amani and the BEST part is I get to see her at school!!

                               Sincerely, Snoopy

   Aislinn and Woodstock's Adventures

On Friday, when we got home from school, Aislinn showed me my personal bedroom. I liked it a lot. I wish Snoopy could have seen me in my very own bed!! For dinner, we had Wendy's fast food. I don't think it was quite as good as bird seed, but I tried to be polite. When we got back, Aislinn told me to get my pajamas on. (I didn't tell her that I don't wear pajamas!) Once she had her PJs on, we all sat in the front room and watched a lady singing in a big black box. Aislinn explained to me that it was a movie called "The Sound of Music" and that the black box was called a television. I had plenty to think about while I lay in my new bed that night.

The next morning I awoke and waited for what seemed like forever for Aislinn to get up. (She is SO lazy!) Once she FINALLY got up, we watched Sponge Bob - some weird yellow guy on that thing they call the television set. For breakfast, we had scones, which looked a little like Snoopy's food, so I tried it at once. The rest of the day I watched Aislinn bobbing all around the house doing something she considers chores. Then I watched her put together a puppet who is supposed to be John F. Kennedy. When she was done, we left with her Dad to go to the Elephant Bar restaurant (unfortunately, there were no birds there).

When we got home, Aislinn introduced me to another creature with big feet. I recall him saying his name was Bronco or something like that.

I slept with him that night. (Yes, I know, I have a BIG bed!) He was very noisy and smelly. The next morning was Sunday, and I awoke with a headache from the terrible smell all night long. Aislinn told me to make myself pretty (I know - an easy job! I'm already a very pretty bird!) and she explained that today we were going to church. There was a classroom with so many kids and a lot of noises. After that class, we went to a park, and Aislinn got in a funny costume. They used the camera to start filming some other kids in funny costumes.

Finally, it was time to go home.

In the afternoon, Aislinn was busy on a project. So I amused myself in Aislinn's room, trying on costumes of my own that made me look pretty snazzy. (See attached photos). I went to a basketball game, and I was playing (the top scorer, thank you very much!) and also, went to a Giant's baseball game to be a pinch hitter for Barry Bonds (the fans like me even more!!). I also became a world famous rock star with my original tune, "Be my chick and fly away with me" (however, the glasses were a little annoying!). I went on a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands to meet some pretty cool chicks :) and, even though it rained a bit, I was able to show off my skateboarding tricks to my new fans!

When she was FINALLY finished, she came into her room to see me tuning my guitar. She looked around at the messy cluttered room and told me I'd been a very bad bird. (I denied everything, of course! I blamed everything on their large, rather dumb, dog). She forgave me but told me not to do that again. (I can't wait until next weekend!)

Hope you like my photos of me being cool! See you on Monday!

  Sai's Adventure with Charlie Brown

11.9.07 Friday

On Friday afternoon I went to Sai’s house. We went there in a GIANT green thing. Sai said it was called a SUV. There was also a screen in the front. It told us how to go home. I thought it was magic! Sai said it was a GPS. I still think it’s magic. When we got to his house we had sandwiches for lunch. After we ate we played on his Nintendo DS. I was dazzled by it. It had 2 screens!!!! Later my mom said we should do something else so we played checkers. I beat Sai. After that we read Inkspell. It’s a really cool book. Then we had dinner, brushed our teeth and went to bed. Man, was his bed comfy!

11.10.07 Saturday

When we woke up on Saturday we read Peanuts comics. I was in almost every strip. I didn’t know I was so famous! After that Sai made a bungee cord and I bungee jumped off of the top bunk. It was cool! Then we had pancakes for breakfast. I was amazed to see that when you put dough on a hot surface it turns into food! After breakfast we read some Garfield comics. They are awesome! Later we played with his Bionicles. They look really cool. They are about my height. Soon after that we had dinner and went to bed.

11.11.07 Sunday

When we woke up we finished the Peanuts comic book. It took a long time but I didn’t care. They are fun to read. Later we played more DS. After that we went to one of Sai’s friend’s house. He had a Nintendo Wii. I thought the name was silly. The games were not silly though. The coolest part about the Wii is that when you move your controller you move something on the screen. For example if you are playing tennis you would hold the remote like a tennis bat. We had lots of fun. In the end Sai and I were sweating like crazy because we played too much tennis on the Wii! Later we read a little bit more of Inkspell. Sai is on page 171 out of 643. It is a very big book. After that I did some more bungee jumping. Soon after that we went to bed.

11.12.07 Monday

When we woke up we didn’t do any reading. We just went to go watch a big black box. Sai said that it’s called a TV. There are so many interesting things in this world, like the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, the GPS, the SUV, pancakes, and TVs. After we watched TV we played on his PS2. It is somewhat like the Wii. Soon after that we played a game of chess. Sai told me how to play. I honed him. For lunch we had pizza. I gobbled it all up before Sai could have any so we got another one. After that we read a lot more of Inkspell. Soon after that we went to bed.

I will never forget my weekend with Sai!!

   Judy's Weekend with Snoopy

Snoopy’s Journal

Friday, January 18, 2008

 Dear Ms. Souther,
I would like to inform you about what I did at Judy’s house so I am writing about it in this journal. Starting from when we came home, Judy told me that she had to go to some kind of lesson so that I should stay home but she came back really early and I found out that she had forgotten that her teacher was not going to be here today. Judy and I thought it was funny how she had to go to the lesson place for nothing. After all this, Judy and I just played and hanged out. We played on the computer and did a sudoku problem in the sudoku book that she got for her birthday. The book level was difficult so it took us a long time to get one done and we were really happy when we finished. A little after we finished the sudoku problem, we had a delicious dinner and then Judy’s mom and her brother had to go somewhere so we were dropped off at someone’s house. There wasn’t much to do so we just watched T.V. and tried to do a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and we couldn’t get anything. The picture of the jigsaw puzzle was Tiger from whinnie the pooh but it was made up of a lot of tiny pictures which made it harder. Then, we had to go to a little meeting place and we stayed pretty late. Judy had a cold and it started getting worse so we got going. Judy and I were so tired we just wanted to lie down and fall asleep but we had to get up and brush our teeth. Judy had a little toothbrush for me and she said that that there was invisible toothpaste. (just kidding) Before we got in bed, I told Judy that I wanted to write a journal to Ms. Souther so Judy helped me type it. I laid down and pretty much instantly fell asleep. I was really tired but I had a good day.

Dear Ms. Souther,
Judy and I slept for a long time since we were so tired the other day but we eventually got ourselves to get up. First, when Judy got up she took a shower and then practiced piano as her mom made breakfast so I sat on the piano listening. The songs she was practicing was fun to listen to. Most songs were happy and it was exciting when she got it all correct. She also practiced her violin and she is not as good as she is in piano but it was fine. The breakfast seemed plain with just rice, some vegetables and some other things but it was wonderful. We got dressed and went to Costco to return something and eat lunch. Judy shared a churro and a berry smoothie with me and it was so refreshing. Then we went to someone’s house to eat dinner with them and we pretty much watched T.V. the whole time. Finally, we went home got ready for bed and Judy helped me type again. Another good day passed. I wonder what adventure we will have tomorrow.   Well, good bye.
                                                 Your little dog,

Sunday, January 20, 2008

 Dear Ms. Souther,
Judy got up early because she had to leave for church and she told me that I should stay home so I slept a lot while she was gone. When I woke up I explored her house. She told me about her house and her family a bit. There were a lot of pictures of her and her family (including their relatives) and they all look so nice. She also told me about two trees that she loved to climb. The trees were in the front yard and in the backyard. I saw the trees through the windows and the one in the backyard looked like it was pretty easy to climb. The one in the front yard didn’t look very easy but it looked like Judy could climb it. Judy came home after a while with some of her friends. She introduced me to them and they were so fun. We played a new board game that Judy got for her birthday and it was really fun but we didn’t really end the game because we got started on something else. We also got to have jamba juice and it was delicious. The flavors were banana berry, mango a go go, and I think it was strawberries swild. The banana berry tasted the best for me. After we finished our drinks, we went outside since we had nothing to do and played hide and go seek tag. I can’t believe that I never became it! We made up some rules which made it even more fun. We were called to go in to eat dinner. The dinner was sushi, miso soup and very good pasta. For desert, we ate a roll cake. After I finished all this, I thought that my stomach would blow up. We went on the computer until Judy’s friends had to go and fell asleep right after they left. Of course we brushed our teeth and did all that stuff we do to get ready for bed. This was another great day that I loved.

Dear Ms. Souther,
Today, when Judy woke up she thought that we had to go to school but when she realized that we didn’t, we just stayed in bed a bit longer. After a while, Judy got up and took a shower. Then we ate breakfast and I listened to Judy play the piano. She really seemed to enjoy it and it was fun to listen to. We didn’t have anything special to do so we got on the computer, read books and did a bunch of things to pass the time. I started to get a little tired so I took a nap. When I woke up I found out that someone Judy knew had a baby and we were going to visit them in the hospital. My brother had no interest and just stayed at home. At first we weren’t sure how to get to the room but we looked at a map, asked questions and found it. We went inside and the baby looked so cute. It was just born but it looked so healthy. The baby was a girl named Chloe. We stayed for a while and then went to a restaurant for dinner. There was ice cream at the restaurant and it looked like just plain vanilla but it was strangely delicious. Judy’s parents sacked some of the leftover food for her brother. He seemed like he was really hungry when we got to Judy’s house. It was about time to sleep so I waited for Judy to get ready for bed and then she helped me type this. I had a great time at Judy’s house but look forward to coming back to school. I am so tired now I could faint. Bye.

   Nancy and Snoopy's Weekend

Saturday, January 26th

On Saturday, Nancy's parents took Nancy and I to a festival. They went to explore another part of the festival and left us some money to do what we wanted. It was really great! The wind carried mouth-watering aromas of sweets to our noses and our stomachs grumbled eagerly for food. We hurried to a nearby stand and bought a few sugary donuts with a warm cocoa for both of us. Then Nancy and I wandered around the place. I saw a woman selling big bright balloons to people and I begged Nancy to buy one for me. She bought two red ones and gave hers to me to hold while she put away the change. The moment I took her red balloon and joined it with mine, I began to float slowly upward while my hand clutched the strings. It was really scary! I went up a few feet before Nancy saw me and seized my foot. She seemed a bit surprised and I wasn't a mite less either. After that Nancy kept her balloon next to her and was careful not to let me hold it again. But now that I think about it, it was actually pretty exciting!

Around four o'clock, we went on an exciting ride on a horse. The ride was really bumpy! The horse we were riding on was pretty young and shook her head a lot and often hit us in the face with her golden-brown mane. When we got off the horses, we rushed toward a fake balloon ride that was held up by strong metallic arms. Then, the balloon started to move slowly around in a circle with the other balloons. There was one lever inside that allowed us to control how far or down we could go. We went the highest we could go and laughed gleefully. We had a good view of the festival and saw a little girl slip in a puddle of water and wet her skirt. Before we could see her reaction, we twirled away. The ride left us a little wobbly on our legs, and my knees felt like jelly. Nancy sat down on a bench and rested. I did too, but I sat on fresh bird dropping. It was so gross! I went into the bathroom and washed it off my tail.

At five thirty we left holding to pink cotton candy cones that blocked our face from view. Before we buckled ourselves, we strained our necks to turn around for a last glimpse of the colorful and cheerful festival.

Sunday, January 27th

On Sunday I woke up really late, so both of Nancy's parents were gone. I ate a few blueberry waffles with milk, and then went to Nancy to play. She was sitting at her desk, twirling a pencil absentmindedly. I snuck up behind her, then whispered her name in the coldest, blood-chilling voice I could manage into her ear. When Nancy screamed, we were both startled, but I think she was even more. I rolled over on the floor, laughing as I clutched my round tummy. Nancy was on the ground because she had toppled off her chair laughing onto a soft landing of clothes.

We both went outside in warm clothing, and explored the bright purple flowers. I accidentally bothered a bee so it chased me around the swimming pool until Nancy slammed it down into the water by throwing a well-aimed stick at it. It was struggling through the water, its wings glued to its striped sides. I picked it up on the stick, then laid it down carefully on a sweet flower.

Nancy and I went back inside the hose and played Hide-and-Seek. I was "It" first, so I counted to twenty while I heard the pounding of Nancy's feet as she searched for a place to hide in. She simply hid in a large closet with the door slightly opened to peek out. But she forgot to conceal her foot, and I found her by accidentally tripping on it.

While Nancy counted to twenty, I crawled under the sofa and covered myself with the nearest things I could reach. I sneezed several times until I breathed through my mouth. After what seemed like ten minutes, I was found, and I slithered out from beneath the couch. I shook myself and the dust that was settled on me was once more into the air.

We spent most of our day playing indoor games, occasionally checking on the bee. But when Nancy's mom came home, she drove me back and Nancy gave me a bag of treats to eat on my way. So that was my weekend with Nancy, and it was great. I enjoyed the festival the most, and I missed the food there!

 SPENCER'S WEEKEND WITH SNOOPY

This weekend Spencer and I had a blast. First, we went swimming at Fairbrae. Actually I played at the playground so I didn’t get wet. A few minutes later, we picked up Spencer’s brothers at SMS. Then Spencer did some of his math homework.

Oh boy! This was my favorite part. Spencer’s grandparents took him and one of his brothers, Clayton, to IHOP! Ms. Souther said I can’t have pancakes so I ate some of Spencer’s dog’s food (it tasted like chicken noodle soup).

On Saturday Spencer had a lot more math to do. His mom gave him a break to play game cube. A few minutes after (or an hour. Dogs can not tell time) he went to Buca di Bepo. I asked if they had something dog edible. They did their best to make me something and it was much better than chicken noodle soup. Spencer ate pizza with his brothers while his Mom and Dad ate salad. At night time Spencer, his brothers, Mom and Dad all watched “Surfs Up” just before bed time.

On Sunday morning Spencer thought of an idea. Why not make a cape for me? Then I would be Super Snoopy! Then Spencer had to get ready for 7:30 Mass where his brothers Mitchell and Clayton were the altar servers. Once Mass was over Spencer went for another swim.

Spencer wanted to make French toast all by himself! But, first he had to fold clothes, load the dishwasher, and put away the toaster. Luckily he had his brothers to help and me to watch. I told him that he could not do it, but he did! Then he did some more math and it was the best weekend ever!

            Amani's 2nd Weekend with Snoopy

May 2nd

On Friday Amani and I went to CDC there Divya, Amani’s friend, gave food to me {fade food}. Then Amani and Divya made a house for me and I slept for like 10 seconds. Amani made me a scarf which was comfortable. By the time it was 4:30 Amani and I went home. Once we got home Amani ate some food and then she dressed me up in a bunch of scarves and shirts. Amani’s brother came back from college to visit and we all went to help decorate this Indian festival. When we came back it was 11:00 and it was time to go to sleep.

                                    Yours,

                                           Snoopy

May 3rd

On Saturday Amani had a soccer game at 8:30 and I was super tired, but I wanted to see her play so I got up and Amani and I went to her game. At the game Amani’s team lost but they played really well. When we got home Allison, Amani’s friend, called and asked if she could come by and Amani said sure. Once Allison got here we saw this clip an You Tube that starred Kay-Marie! Then Amani and Allison made a video which was hilarious and it also starred me! When it was 6:00 Amani went to this show called Sapnay. It is the thing that we decorated. It was really exciting to see Indian dances.

May 4th

On Sunday Amani went to her Indian school with Divya and I got to come. It was interesting to learn about Hindu culture. When we got home we watched some T.V and did handstands. It was 3:30 and we went to the mall and Amani got shorts, Capri’s, and two shirts. We got home at 6:00 and we worked on Amani’s Report for Social Studies. She printed it out and then ate dinner. I’m really sad that I’m leaving, but I’m still going to see her at school.
