Mathscore is an internet-based, supplementary math program for grades 1-Algebra 1 that has been proven to substantially help students become better at mathematics through adaptive math practice. Comprehensive information regarding Mathscore can be found at www.mathscore.com. You do not need to sign your child up for the program. Cherry Chase has a school-wide subscription. The Cherry Chase website is http://cherrychase.mathscore.com; the student’s login is the same as their school ID and their AR login. The school ID can be found on a report card or you can ask their teacher. The password is the child’s initials. We encourage you to please sign into Mathscore to see what it can offer your child. Using Mathscore one hour per week can increase the mastery of math facts for your child. An Observer account can also be set up to allow you access to the same reports your child’s teacher accesses. Parents can look at their child’s progress in Accelerated Reading quizzes and find AR books. The login is the same as their child’s login (and the same as Mathscore).
