After 19 years working as an engineer, for Nortel Networks, I wanted to make a difference in my community and entered the Teacher Education program at University of Phoenix. My second student teaching assignments was at Cherry Chase in Ms. Otsuji's 1st grade class (from November 2003 to January 2004). I believe in continued education and have completed my Masters in Education (Curriculum Development/Instruction) in October of 2006. I have taught third grade for three years and last year completed my first year in fifth grade.

I am married and have one daughter. We live in the Sunnyvale area and my wife teaches in the Cupertino Union School District. My daughter is a senior in High School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, going to movies, and Starbucks.
