Professional:
After 19 years working as an engineer, for Nortel Networks, I decided to do something that would impact the future. I wanted to make a difference in my community and entered the Teacher Education program at University of Phoenix. My second student teaching assignments was at Cherry Chase in Ms. Otsuji's 1st grade class (from November 2003 to January 2004). After completing my teacher program in March, I received my Credential in June, 2004. I believe in continued education so I entered a Masters program in Curriculum Instruction at UoP and earned my Masters in Education in October of 2006. I have taught third grade for three years and last year completed my first year in fifth grade.
