Field Trip: Youth Science Institute (February 14th)

We have an exciting field trip scheduled for our second grade students. We will be going to Vasona Park in Los Gatos as part of our Open Court Unit 4 lessons about fossils. Students will take part in the Youth Science Institute's program, "Dinosaurs and Fossil Fun". Children will find clues hidden in fossils, while learning about prehistoric life. They will discover what it is like to be a paleontologist and make a fossil to take home. We have 5 1/2 classes going on this trip. Our class date and time is Wednesday, February 14th from 10:15am-11:15am. If you have not yet returned your permission slip, please do so as soon as possible.
