Red Ribbon Week: A Celebration of a Drug Free Lifestyle October 27 – 31, 2008
In support of Red Ribbon Week we are asking students to make a daily fashion statement as follows:
l Monday: Wear red shirts to kick off Red Ribbon Week l Tuesday: Wear crazy socks or mismatched socks for “Sock it to Drugs Day” l Wednesday: Wear baseball caps to school to “Put a Cap on Drugs” l Thursday: Wear any sports team shirt so we can “Team Up Against Drugs” l Friday: To show that we choose to be drug free, wear clothes backwards for our “Turn Your Back on Drugs Day”
Please make sure your child has a backpack that is big enough to put their folders in. Please staple all of the homework pages together. Make sure that your child does all of the tracing with a pencil and all of the drawings with crayons. Homework Reminders Please make sure you have your TB test and insurance on file in the office if you would like to help in the classroom or join us on field trips.
