Mystery Readers Wanted!

Please let me know if you are interested in reading to the class at the end of the day on a Friday.  It is always a surprise to the students, so if you want to sign up, please email me and keep it a secret from your child.

In the morning, students are to line-up on the primary playground where it says, “Room 30.”  I will pick up the students promptly at 8:12.  Students are dismissed at 2:30 Mondays-Thursdays and 12:45 on Fridays.  You may wait for your child on the primary playground.  I will bring the students to you.  Please do not wait outside the classroom as this can be a distraction to the classes.

During the first couple of weeks, homework will consist mainly of paperwork for you to complete and return to school as soon as you can.  Please read with your child for at least 20 minutes each day.  Formal homework will be discussed at Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, September 16th.  Please make the necessary arrangements to attend. 

If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom or driving on a field trip, you must have evidence of current TB clearance car insurance on file in the office.  I would greatly appreciate any help.  Please fill out the attached form and indicate if and/or when you are available.  I will also have a sign-up at Back-to-School Night.
