I have been working with children since graduating from high school. I taught pre-school, served as a day camp leader in the summers, and was a substitute teacher! I received my B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Education from U.C. Berkeley in 1995. I then went on to receive my teaching credential from San Francisco State University in 1997. I taught kindergarten and first grade at San Miguel (another fabulous Sunnyvale school) since 1997. Then I was given an amazing opportunity to teach kindergarten at Cherry Chase in 2005.  

Outside of school, I enjoy many activities. I especially love to travel, camp, bike, ski, and hike. On my relaxing days, I read, play with my dogs, Bella and Mia, and watch television or movies. I hope someday to be the $1,000,000 winner on the Amazing Race!
