Dear Families and Friends, 

Welcome to Cherry Chase Elementary School! The mission of Cherry Chase is to ensure all students receive an empowering academic, social and cultural education and that all students recognize the importance of learning as a necessary skill in order to be responsible citizens and successful in life. Every day is a day full of possibilities, promise and growth!

Cherry Chase is an outstanding school with a kindergarten through fifth grade student population of approximately 760. We have a strong academic focus, yet firmly believe in the education of the ‘whole’ child. Our curriculum is standards-based, well-balanced, and student centered. The accomplishment of our strategic objectives is guided by the “Seven Correlates of Effective Schools”

With support from the Sunnyvale School District, our dedicated staff, and involved parent and neighborhood communities our educational program is enriched with technology, arts, and science, and is delivered with enthusiasm and care.
